Nonprofit integrator Radioplayer has developed an app to offer audio podcast players through Apple's Vision Pro virtual reality goggle system.
The app, currently available in Canada, France, the U.K. and Germany, takes the form of a 'radio' that users can place within their VR setting. It appears to be the only app (excepting Apple Podcasts) that currently feeds podcast platforms into the Vision Pro devices.
Radioplayer, owned by a collection of broadcasters around the world, specilizes in system integrations. Their aim is to offer audio and radio interconnectivity across platforms.
The app supports around 10,000 global radio stations, as well as podcasting platforms. Video podcasts aren't mentioned, but video auctions do not appear to be available at this point.
Also no word yet on U.S. availability.
