Foul Called on NBAer's Podcast Requirement for Interviews

Patrick Beverley of the Bucks has a ... unique... approach to growing his subscriber list.

Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley didn't have a great night last Thursday, but he made it worse after the game by denying an interview to an ESPN producer. His reasoning: the producer wasn't subscribed to his podcast.

That's one approach to growing your podcast, I guess.

Beverley later apologized to Malinda Adams, as did the Bucks organization.

To be fair, it had been a rough night for Beverley. The Bucks dropped the knockout game to the Indiana Pacers by 22 points, ending their season. Beverley may also face a fine or suspension for throwing a ball at a heckling fan behind the bench during the game.

It's not like he's hurting for subscribers, though. The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone, from Barstool Sports, shows 239,000 followers on YouTube.

So, Patrick, maybe not the best approach to gaining subscribers.
